Every day there is one Sudoku grid, the same for everyone: whoever plays on 20 October gets the same digits as you, wherever they are. It changes at midnight on your own clock, it is always Medium, with 34 givens, and it can be solved by reasoning alone, without ever having to guess.
How it works
- Press the button above: the game opens straight on today's grid, with no difficulty to choose.
- Solve it and the game shows your time and your mistakes, and how many days in a row you have solved the challenge, with your best streak. Your record stays in your browser, on your device.
- Share your result: the text says your time and your streak, never the solution, so whoever receives it can play the same grid without spoilers.
- Once you have written in the grid, the New button asks for a second press, then leaves the challenge. Today's grid is still waiting for you when you come back here.
Before you start
The rules, the four difficulties and some strategy are on the Sudoku page. The grid is new every day, so you always play one you have not seen.
