Halloween games

Six of our games in Halloween dress: the same rules, a night-time table, pumpkins and bats. Tap a game and it opens straight in its Halloween look; from the home page the same games open as usual.

The games

• Spider is the obvious one for the night of 31 October: the solitaire with the spider in its name, on a purple table, with a web and a spider on the back of every card and another spider dangling from its thread.
• Klondike and FreeCell, the two classic solitaires, with a bat on the back of every card, a moon in the corner and, in Klondike, a jack-o'-lantern waiting in the empty spaces.
• Minesweeper hides jack-o'-lanterns instead of mines, and you mark them with little ghosts: the numbers say how many are around, as always, and the first square you open is never one.
• Sudoku is played on a purple night with bats and orange accents, and the digits stay as readable as ever.
• Snake chases little pumpkins instead of apples, with a wrapped sweet now and then as a bonus, on a dark board.
